General Information

  1. ARTWORK We reserve the right to determine what is print-ready artwork and to re-size the art for best print quality as well and for placement on the product. Please specify to use maximum imprint area or if smaller, specify image area size desired. Photocopies are not considered print-ready art. Clearly specify on your order if your artwork is one sided, two sided or a wrap around imprint. Also, state if the art is to be exact size or should be reduced or enlarged. If instructions are not clearly stated, we will use our best judgment.  Some glassware items are “seamed” opposite the handle. We do not recommend wrap around imprints on “seamed” items. Artwork on some items depicted online will be altered in appearance due to the taper, shape or radius of the item. Some examples are martini glasses, brandy snifters, and belgians.
  2. ELECTRONIC ARTWORK For best results, compile artwork in a vector (resolution independent) based format. We do not recommend converting jpeg or png type files to .ai, .pdf, or .eps file format, for they do not convert over to a vector based file format. Any artwork in either JPG or PNG formats will require a high resolution image . File formats accepted: Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop or lower (.psd), .tif or .psd files must be a minimum of 600 dpi with artwork to size. All fonts should be created to outlines.
  3. PAPERLESS INVOICES As of 2019, all invoices will be emailed.
  4. COLOR REGISTRATION Direct screened close color or butt registration may result in a registration variance of 1/16” in the horizontal plane. This is within industry standards and needs to be considered acceptable.
  5. PERSONALIZATIONS Individual names, proper nouns, or sayings can be direct screen printed. Size and font styles are limited and a complete typed alphabetical list must be provided. Due to the custom nature of these orders, additional charges will apply.
  6. PROOFS PDF artwork e-mailed proofs are included with all orders at no charge. Proofs demonstrate how your order will be produced relative to placement, size and copy on your chosen item. Your order will be produced as proofed unless otherwise notified in writing. Please pay particular attention to spelling, phone numbers, size and positioning of your layout. Written approval must be submitted before production will commence. Any delay in returning your art approval may result in a revised shipping date.
  7. VIRTUAL PROOFS Due to the inherent nature of most monitors (varied calibrations, color management, varying degrees of brightness and resolution) the actual imprint color(s) and imprint location will vary with actual production. Most virtual samples are a visual guide and may not reflect the exact imprint placement for the actual production run. A true representation for your design is an actual pre-production sample that we can produce for you. Pre-pro samples are at a cost of $50 plus $44 screen charge.
  8. STANDARD INK COLORS Pourware Inked carries a standard pallet of colors for ceramic, glass, stainless, and plastic. The PMS color numbers for swatches listed are approximated and will vary slightly in production runs.
  9. RUSH CHARGES For requests expedited outside of our normal turn around time, a Rush Charge will be assessed. Please discuss with your rep for options on a quicker turnaround.
  10. LESS THAN MINIMUM ORDERS Orders for less than the minimum quantities shown are subject to a $60 charge plus $1.00 upcharge per piece to listed pricing.
  11. QUALITY OF GLASS AND CERAMICS Due to the inherent properties of glass and ceramics, small imperfections may be evident and are not to be considered flaws. Variations in height, diameter, capacity and glaze color may be evident and are considered within industry standards. In no way will these variations diminish the effectiveness of the product.
  12. SECOND SIDE IMPRINTS AND WRAPS There is no charge for second side or wrap-around imprints done with ceramic inks and using the same color. To ensure a quality second side imprint of tight registration, multi-color artwork, an additional running charge may be required.
  13. PRICES Due to the fluctuations in North American currencies and rapid raw material, labor inflation in China, and tariffs, Pourware Inked may have to make periodic price updates. If necessary, this will be done on our website: wwww.pourwareinked.com. We advise that you verify prices prior to ordering. Listed prices online will be the prices charged at time of order placement.
  14. SHIPPING Unless otherwise specified, shipments will be made by the carrier of our choice. Motor freight will be used when it is economical. Fed Ex/UPS, Air, or Parcel Post shipments must be protected by overpacking into safety boxes at an additional cost. We use double-wall boxes with high-end bubble for all shipments. If shipment arrives damaged, a claim must be filed upon receipt of shipment with the carrier. Orders requiring special attention such as liftgate, appointment, inside or residential delivery must be noted on your order. Failure to do so may result in delayed delivery and additional freight charges forwarded to you after the initial invoice is issued. Freight estimates by the factory are not guaranteed and we will not be held responsible for the final billing. Local customer pick up at our facility must be within 1 week of notification or a storage fee may be charged.
  15. INDIVIDUAL MAILINGS Pourware Inked offers individual mailings for most items within the United States at an additional charge. It is understood the customer will provide the individual information for each mailing. We only accept electronic lists.
  16. DROP SHIPMENTS & SPLIT SHIP SERVICE There will be an additional charge for each drop or split shipment.
  17. UNDERRUNS AND OVERRUNS Although every effort will be made to ship the exact quantity ordered, due to the difficulty of manufacturing exact quantities without sacrificing quality, all orders are subject to a variance of 10%. Orders requesting no overruns may be shipped short by the above amounts. Orders stating no underruns may be shipped over by the above amounts.
  18. CANCELLATION CHARGES All costs incurred prior to order cancellation will be invoiced.
  19. RETURNS Merchandise cannot be returned for any reason without written factory authorization. Any merchandise that is returned without a RMA# will not be accepted. Please alert our team immediately of an issue and we will work to resolve expeditiously.
  20. CLAIMS Claims must be made within 10 days of receipt of a shipment. Claims for freight, breakage, printing issues, shipping errors, or any other error must be filed within 10 days of receipt. Return merchandise must have authorization. Pourware Inked reserves the right to inspect items from the actual production run before processing any complaints and/or disputes.
  21. SUBSTITUTIONS Due to unavoidable manufacturer’s product changes and improvements, we reserve the right to substitute, at any point in time, products that compare in price & design for those shown online.
  22. TRADEMARKS In the event Pourware Inked is directed by the customer to use any logo, copy, or similar material supplied by any source other than Pourware Inked to produce an order, it is agreed and understood that Pourware Inked shall be acting as the Agent of the customer on the use of such material. The customer, as principal, shall be responsible to comply with all laws regarding copyright, trademark, patent, right of privacy, licensing or similar right of protection, and shall indemnify and save harmless Pourware Inked, its agent, for any suits, claims, or action of any nature for damages, expenses and costs which may arise by reason of Pourware Inked using said material in accordance with the customer’s direction, all of which shall be considered within the scope of the aforementioned agency relationship. Trademarks and logos shown on products online are merely depicted to represent the products and our ability to decorate them, but are never meant to imply the decorations were created by this company or that the products with any specific decorations are available to any purchaser, without the consent of the owners of the trademarked or copyrighted art or copy.
